The Director of Youth Ministry is a member of the parish pastoral staff. His/her responsibilities are to develop a relational ministry focused on developing community among the youth while bringing them to Christ through His Church. These communities aim to develop young people of Christ by including aspects of catechesis, justice and service, spirituality, openness through sharing, and community building activities.

3.) Reach out to those in the broader community.
Discipleship: STàBYM helps to provide high schoolers with the tools that they need to view, understand and participate in the message and mission of Jesus Christ. It provides opportunities to learn the richness of the Catholic faith, both it's scripture and tradition.
Membership: STàBYM fosters the personal and spiritual growth of teens. It recognizes the importance of connecting youth to other Catholic Christians journeying in faith. It also promotes the development and recognizes the potential contributions of youth and supports their integration into the life of the community.
Outreach: STàBYM assists youth in sharing the gospel through their lives in word and action beyond their immediate Catholic community.
St. Thomas à Becket Middle School Ministry exists to help middle schoolers to...
1.) Begin to look at their relationship with Jesus and what that means in their daily lives.
2.) Have a positive experience of Church community.
3.) See the importance of service to the broader community.The Middle School Program is designed to complement their current religious education, and start to transition to the faith formation that works with where the Middle schoolers are in their development as young people.
